ABOUT US

Welcome to Finca pacificas

where conservation meets community empowerment in the heart of Guatemala.
Our Story
Nestled amidst the lush landscapes of Guatemala lies a precious gem – a piece of land that embodies both ecological richness and cultural heritage. Purchased with a vision to conserve its natural beauty and empower its indigenous inhabitants, our endeavor began with a simple yet profound mission: to preserve, protect, and prosper.
We believe in the harmonious coexistence of nature and humanity. Our journey started with recognizing the delicate balance between conservation efforts and the needs of indigenous communities. Guided by this principle, we embarked on a transformative path, striving to make a positive impact on both the environment and the lives of those who call this land their home.

Mesoamerican civilization

Mayan Culture

Join us in celebrating the timeless wisdom of Maya culture, as we honor their legacy of preserving land, building sustainable farms, nurturing ecologies, and embracing organic principles for the well-being of the Earth and all its inhabitants. Together, let us learn from their ancient teachings and embark on a journey towards a more harmonious and sustainable future.

Building Farms and Ecologies:

Drawing upon centuries of agricultural expertise, Maya farmers cultivate the land with a profound respect for its rhythms and cycles. Employing traditional techniques such as terracing, agroforestry, and crop rotation, they create thriving farms that are both productive and sustainable. By nurturing diverse ecologies within their fields, they promote soil health, enhance resilience to climate change, and foster a rich tapestry of plant and animal life.

Organic Wisdom

At the core of Maya agriculture is a commitment to organic principles, eschewing synthetic chemicals and industrial practices in favor of natural, holistic approaches. By harnessing the power of composting, mulching, and beneficial microorganisms, Maya farmers cultivate healthy soils and vibrant crops without compromising the integrity of the land or the health of future generations.

In partnership with the NGO Amigos de Santa Cruz, we made a financial donation aimed at strengthening their assistance programs for children, youth, and families in vulnerable situations.

Our contribution was allocated toward:

  • Purchasing basic food supplies.
  • School materials.
  • Support for community educational programs.
  • Urgent needs identified by the NGO.

Second Project — December 2024

We sponsored a Christmas Dinner for all students and teachers of the primary school in Santa Cruz La Laguna.

The purpose of this event was to:

  •  Foster unity, generosity, and the Christmas spirit.
  • Recognize the hard work of the teachers.
  • Create an atmosphere of togetherness and joy for the students.

The activity included food, interactive activities, and special gifts, strengthening the sense of community during such a meaningful time of year.

Third Project — December 2024

We organized and sponsored a community event focused on providing essential items for the cold season. Our primary goal was to ensure no family went cold during the winter.

The event collected and distributed:

  • Warm clothing.
  • Blankets.
  • Personal hygiene products.
  • Basic household items.

In addition, guidance was provided on how to prepare for low temperatures, and a registry of families was created for future follow-up.
